Vision & Master Plan: Carpe Vitam Institute
"Own your existence."
The Carpe Vitam Institute is a registered Colorado 501(c)(3) non-profit organization establishing a revolutionary, self-contained, faith-based campus designed to break the cycles of substance abuse, family breakdown, and educational displacement. Our radial campus layout is engineered around a central spiritual hub, seamlessly blending professional medical care with lifelong vocational learning and commercial sustainability.
The Master Campus Plan Overview
Campus Size: 140–180 Acres
Building Footprint: Approximately 125,000 Square Feet
Total Structures: 24 Standalone Buildings
Central Hub: Church / Sanctuary
Water Feature: Recirculating Closed-Loop River Layout
Environmental Shielding: Mature Evergreen Windbreaks
Engineered for Total Demographical Safety: The 5 Campus Zones
Our radial design utilizes exact zoning protocols, perimeter fencing, security gates, and natural topographical buffers to ensure different campus populations operate in absolute safety and isolation.
Spoke 1: Northwest Adult & Medical
A highly secure, 5-acre isolated sector containing our Secure Detox Center, Maintenance Garage, and Front Office Intake. This sector features dedicated security gates and standalone perimeters completely isolated from youth spaces.
Spoke 2: Northeast Family & Education
A quadrant entirely dedicated to development and healing, featuring a Child Daycare (with a secured playground), a K-12 School House, and a fully equipped School Gymnasium.
Spoke 3: Southwest Adult Recreation & Education
Focused on sustainable community re-entry. Contains an Adult Education Center, a Workforce Development Center for trades and technology, and an independent recreational Fitness Center.
Spoke 4: South Core Services
The therapeutic backbone of the property, including a central campus Cafeteria and a dedicated Mental Health Center for professional counseling and therapy. As well as a stand alone pharmacy and primary care provider.
Spoke 5: Southeast Adult Residential
Providing structured, dignified housing environments separated by gender, including Adult Men’s Dorms, Adult Women’s Dorms, and independent Sober Living complexes.
Public Retail Sector & Economic Feeder
Positioned on the outer highway perimeter to capture passing trade, featuring a Gas Station & Canopy, a Retail Mini-Mart, a Bookstore, a Vet Clinic, and a Doggy Daycare. These entities generate independent corporate dividends to fund our non-profit operations. These facilities are free of alcohol, cannabis and kratom to prevent relapse for those in recovery on campus.
