Colorado Minor Consent Laws: In Colorado, minors aged 12 and older can legally consent to their own outpatient substance use and mental health treatment without parental consent. However, for residential and inpatient detox services, parental or legal guardian involvement and consent are generally required. Clinical therapeutic details may be withheld from parents if the clinician determines sharing it would harm the minor's recovery.

Access: You can request a digital or physical copy of your medical and billing records.
